A MESSAGE FROM MY HEART FROM ME TO YOU

Hi, everybody, I’m Ryan from Leeds. I lost my mum to pancreatic cancer on July 13th this year. My mum was a lady who would do anything for anybody. It broke my heart when I found out about my mum having this terrible disease.

Pancreatic cancer is usually called the ‘Silent Cancer’ because there usually aren’t any symptoms in the early stages. My mum had no signs or symptoms; she was very healthy and had a very big personality. My mum was never a person to moan about anything and she would give you her last pound in her purse. The one thing she loved very much in life was her children - myself and my sister - and no one could ever take away the bond and love we shared every day. I know I can no longer see my mum, but I know she is only in the other room and she will always guide me throughout my life........x

Now it’s my turn to follow in the footsteps of my mum - a lady with the biggest heart you could ever imagine; a lady who always put herself second to help others; and over the years my mum has helped a lot of people with all kinds of problems. She would never judge anyone; she always welcomed people into her life, and nothing was ever too much for her. I speak for myself and many others who my mum helped throughout her life. My mum was a strong lady and well respected. One thing she would never do and that is give up. I am so proud to call her my mum. A mother's love is a love that is unconditional, special; a love that never leaves you.

I can say from the bottom of my heart I’ll never get over losing my diamond, my mum - the bestest friend I’ll ever have.

But one thing I can promise you all is I’m gonna make a big difference to people's lives. I have a voice, a talent that I’m using to raise as much money as possible to help research into this awful disease.
